Two walks: 6.6 and 7.1 miles. Latter goes N and W down to the R Dee via St Edith’s church with its Norman doorway then SE, then W back to the pub NW loop of walk OK on today’s (Friday) recce. Good views of Wales. (Shorter walk is a horizontal figure of 8 based on The Bull at the NW corner of the figure and going away from the river).
Don’t let the following (scratched into the east window of St Edith’s church) put you off:
nor the fact that the church is haunted (watch out for the ghostly carriage).
