Parking is in a car park 50 m south of a bus stop, entrance opposite ~ 75 / 77 Hawarden Road.

Walk encompasses part of Wat’s Dyke, Hope mountain with views (weather permitting), historic bridge over R Alyn.  9 miles with 420 m of total ascent, the main ascent being on road.

Option at end to go up to Caergwrle Castle.  (Adds 0.2 miles and 40 m to total ascent).

Meal afterwards at the Royal Oak, Higher Kinnerton (CH4 9BE).  Names for meal to Elisabeth by Friday 19th October.

All walks are led by our experienced walk leaders, just come to the meeting point and introduce yourself - there is no need to book a place.

All you need to do is read our advice before you walk.

The first few walks are free and if you like us membership only costs £8 a year.
