Horseshoe Pass

Park on open ground opposite Ponderosa cafe (not cafe car park) LL20 8DR

Walk: 10 miles with 1900 feet of ascent, mainly quite gradual, just one shortish steep climb. Reasonable head for heights needed for the section of Offa’s dyke where a narrow path crosses a steep escarpment! Splendid views as far as Snowdonia given reasonable weather.

Meal: The Royal Oak at Higher Kinnerton CH4 9BE. Names to Elisabeth Sullivan by Friday 13th, but menu choice not needed.
